India Gate: India Gate is a 42 m high it is built in
the memory of around 80,000 Indian Army Soldiers who died in
the World War I. It is surrounded by the lush green
landscaped grass lawns and small artificial lakes, in the
evening in front of the gate it is the eternal flame (Amar
Jawan Jyoti), which is always lighted. |

Red Fort: We also call it as Lal Qila, was built by
the famous Mughal emperor Shah Jehan. It is situated on the
banks of river Yamuna. In the evening Tourism Department
organizes an exciting light and sound show, which tells the
history of Delhi. |

Jama Masjid: It is also an architectural masterpiece
creation of the Mughal emperor Shah Jehan. It is the largest
mosque in India. Built in red sandstone in 1650 AD, it is
located just opposite to the Red Fort. You can have a bird's
eye view of Delhi from the top of 40 m high minar of the
mosque. |

Qutab Minar: It is built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak about
in 12th century. It is a 72.5 m tall tower. There is an
ancient iron pillar belonging to the 5th century AD. That
iron pillar is never been rusted since it was built. |

Parliament House: It is the largest democracy in the
world; the Parliament House is the sitting house of the
elected members of India. Located in the heart of the city,
on the left of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, this beautiful
circular structure is the finest examples of the British
architectural richness.
Rashtrapati Bhavan: It is the official residence of
the President of India. The red sandstone building is
another architectural masterpiece of this period. The
beautiful Mughal Gardens is situated in the premises of the
Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Lotus Temple: It is a beautiful landscaped gardens,
Lotus Temple is a lotus shaped architecture belonging to the
Bahai faith. Completed in 1986, it is open to people
belonging to all faiths of the world.
Other attractions in Delhi include the Raj Ghat, Chandni
Chowk, Jantar Mantar, Purana Qila, National Zoological Park,
Lodi Gardens, Connaught Place, Janpath, Dilli Haat,
Botanical Gardens, National Museum, Nehru Planetarium among
